WELCOME TO 2017
ENVIRONMENT TEAM CLEANS UP THE PERMACULTURE GARDEN
Last week the Senior Environment Team went into the Permaculture Gardens and cleaned up the area, weeded the garden beds and found some corn and a pumpkin that are ready to be harvested. We also found some interesting bugs and ate some nasturtium flowers and mint. Now the beds are almost ready to start planting our next crop of lovely vegetables.
WINTER VEGIES ARE HARVESTED!
During the last week of term 3 the Senior Environment Team harvested their end of Winter/start of Spring crops. There was a great abundance of silver beet, multi coloured carrots, beetroots and potatoes. Each member took home a bag full of fresh vegetables and there was even enough left over for the office staff to enjoy the harvest. The students also planted seeds in preparation for a Spring/early Summer harvest. We all look forward to reaping the rewards of organic permaculture gardening.
